Gowalla Acquired By Facebook
On the other hand, Facebook timeline tells your story. This new feature is getting ready to be rolled out to its huge 800 million users, so they would go hand in hand. Because both of them are indirectly related in a way that both help us share our life. Integration of Gowalla to Facebook Mobile app would enable you to portray your life story via Mobile.
When we consider the present circumstances faced by Gowalla, I would say this acquisition by Facebook is a good outcome for Gowalla. It makes perfect sense. And now lets wait and see whether Facebook would destroy this beautiful app too, like they do most of the times. CNN report says Gowalla team would work on the Timeline feature with Facebook. And there are stories that Gowalla team is moving on to Facebook’s HQ in Palo Alto. Lets wait and see the future of this app.
