Well, it’s been a long wait for some of you. Now, the wait is over and Samsung Galaxy SIII is launched today. There has been many rumors about the Samsung Galaxy SIII’s launch. People were wondering about the specifications of this phone and now it’s officially launched and available for you. Samsung Galaxy SIII’s launch was much awaited and was hyped. Well, let’s take a look at the features.

The event at Samsung HQ is going live, but here’s what that is known.
- A 4.8” 720px Super Amoled Display
- 2100 mAh Battery
- 8 Mega Pixel Camera
- Android Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System
The handset is providing an impressive screen, with a 4.8 inch High Definition Super Amoled 1280 by 720 resolution. This is where Samsung wasn’t much correct. The screen size isn’t much bigger than the previous one, S2. It’s 8.6 mm think and has a weight of 133 gram. Samsung gave a sleek and smooth shape to S3, which is the result of trying to be minimalist and organized.
S3 features an 8 MP Camera with Autho Focus and features like buddy photo share, burst share, and best photo in addition. Best Photo is really cool, it selects one out of 8 photos as the best one. The shutter lag time is really low, which means everything is done in a snap. Once you press the button, it’s the photo capture is over and you’ll be returned back into the Capture mode. The rear camera is quite capable to capture HD videos for you. However, this will be hard to believe for those who dreamed something else about Samsung Galaxy S3′s launch.
Samsung has tried to pack up many new cool features into this phone. It includes S Voice Recognition – with 8 language detection and ability to search for stuff, weather and more. Another one is Social Tag, which helps you to keep track of the friends near you, and recognizes their faces in your photos. This helps much, if you’re sharing it to Facebook, because it just goes straight away to Facebook with one click.
The handset is running Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 along with a memory of 16-32 GB. It offers an expandable memory of 64 GB. The battery life is quite impressive – 2100 mAh.
It’ll be available for purchase in 145 countries. It’s available in two colors – white and blue. I’m looking forward to see your comments. What’s your reactions on Samsung Galaxy S3′s launch?
